ARE YOU TRAVELLING TOO MUCH?

I guess everyone loves travelling - who doesn't? I'm not really a frequent traveler but I would say I travel quite a great deal and occasionally there are signs that I may be overdoing it. Let it be either travel across your country or abroad, perhaps you can relate to some of them.

Please wake yourself up and accept the fact that you're travelling too much if you are having this signs (;
  1. All of the bottles in your liquor cabinet happen to be miniatures. If you don't drink, let's check your toiletries. Are they all in travel sizes? 😏
  2. Whenever you meet your friends they will skip the "Hello" part and go with "What's your next plan?" or "Where have you been lately?" or maybe "Long time no see". It's not surprising anymore to me.😏
  3. Most of my weekends and public holidays, I would receive calls from my parents asking "Where are you now?". Does it happen to you too? If yes, you know what it means. 😏
  4. You’ve paid for more than one expedited visa in the past year. Or in other case you don't own a credit card, you have activated your debit card in advance for oversea service for one year. Who knows there will be "emergency case" where you need to travel abroad on the spot. 😏
  5. Your collection of amenity kits has gotten so large that you have to donate to friends who just start to get into travelling. Or maybe, you just throw them in the bin without feeling a slight of guilty/love. 😏
  6. You will think twice (or maybe thrice) whenever you want to purchase clothes, books, shoes and bags, and if you are purchasing them you will do based on how much they weigh. 😏
  7. You’ve been late for work/classes, had to pull over driving, or had to leave a meeting early or maybe couldn't concentrate in your current conversation with friends due to the breaking news of a mistake fare. Same thing happens whenever there's a cheap fare. 😏
  8. You bribe your family with souvenirs (Tips: Moms love fridge magnets LOL) in exchange for them tolerating your mileage run habits. 😏
  9. It would be possible to wallpaper your bathroom with boarding passes, airport parking receipts, free postcards or all of them. Especially the free postcards, in my case — who doesn't want free postcards with different designs? 😏
  10. You have used a room key from a previous trip to try to open your current hotel room. Worse yet, you went to the front desk and told them your key didn’t work.
  11. You have gate agents and flight attendants who have followed you on Twitter/Instagram and friended you on Facebook. 😏
  12. You’ve actually lied to your co-workers/friends and said you were doing nothing or only cleaning your garage this weekend when you were actually going to somewhere else. Again. 😏
  13. Your favorite clothing store or restaurant is located in an airport. 😏
  14. You’ve wandered aimlessly around the hotel parking lot because you can’t remember what your rental car looked like.
  15. Your idea of a relaxing time is coffee in bed with your computer, searching for airfares. You will key your destinations and dates in the search box over and over, trying to find any possibilities. 😏
  16. You receive emails/messages on Facebook from people you’ve obviously met on a plane, in an airport, or other travel venues along the way, but you have no idea who they are or you just recognize the faces. 😏
  17. Your idea of a bad day is when your upgrade doesn’t clear or no any cheap fares. 😏
  18. You’ve finally memorized your passport number and its expiration date. Including your bank card. 😏
  19. You swear you’re going to buy full-size shampoo to use at home as soon as you finish all of the miniature ones — but that hasn’t happened yet. 😏
  20. You haven’t found time to visit your sister who lives just a two-hour drive away, but you’ve flown on 65 flights this year. In my case - my uncle just live not far from KLIA and I haven't visited him yet, not once whenever I'm in KL. 😏
  21. You’ve completed your Christmas shopping entirely from the Sky Mall catalog.
  22. you have already owned a particular airline's travel kits (neck pillow, ear plugs, eye pads, blanket..) 😏
  23. You don’t own any plants, have any pets, or have time to buy fresh milk. Your refrigerator contains mostly condiments.
  24. You sign up yourself on Frequent Flyer program or any related programs. 😏
  25. You can’t wait to get online on Monday mornings because that’s when your miles should post to your frequent flier account.😏
  26. Your neighbor thinks you just moved in but you’ve lived in your home for six years.
  27. In case you're a still a student, your colleagues will think you are already graduated when they always see your travel photos. 😏
  28. You select your airline seat based on the chances of being able to order the omelet (Don't forget -  toilet). 😏
  29. You will be super focused and will stay up late night whenever there are airfare promotions, hoping you can be the first and could grab one. 😏
  30. Finally, everywhere is your sleeping place. You can sleep whenever and wherever, can be while waiting for boarding, or during flight delay or most of the time you will fall asleep on the plane even it's not take-off yet! 😏
However, I don't say travelling too much is wrong but sometimes we don't realize we do all these things. In fact, I encourage you to travel more. It gives you an awesome feeling. I’m afraid I have to plead guilty to every one of these. Those signs with smirking smiley are actually what happen to me LOL. Do any of them ring true for you?
